NBSC Continues to Champion Employee Wellness Through Emotional Intelligence Workshop
In its continued commitment to fostering the holistic well-being of its employees, Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) once again held the Emotional Intelligence (EI) Workshop from June 2 to 5, 2025, with follow-up sessions conducted per batch.
The workshop was spearheaded by SUC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, who has been a strong advocate of cultivating emotional intelligence not only in the workplace but also in the personal lives of employees.
Renowned speaker and emotional intelligence expert Teresita R. Albert returned to facilitate the sessions, building on the success of the initial workshop. The follow-up focused on reinforcing key concepts from the first training and deepening the participantsโ understanding of emotional awareness, empathy, self-regulation, and relationship management.
Participants also engaged in reflective activities and real-life scenario exercises that encourage open dialogue, improved interpersonal communication, and stress management techniques. The workshop created a safe space for employees to share their experiences and challenges.
As part of NBSCโs wellness initiatives, the Emotional Intelligence Workshop stands as a testament to the institutionโs dedication to nurturing not just the minds but also the hearts of its workforce.
